"America's Provence"

"Having fallen in love with the lavender fields of France, I was pleasantly surprised when traveling recently through Sequim, Washington on the Olympic Peninsula...  There seemed to me an almost mystical connection between those fields where the Olympic Mountains roll down to the ocean and the foothills of the southern Alps as they slope gently to the Mediterranean Sea." ~  Claire Murray, Editor, La Vie Claire

"I am from France; never have I seen so many beautiful lavender fields!" from Laurent Lanoiselet, a recent visitor to Sequim

Welcome to the "Lavender Farm Faire"
which is part of
Sequim Lavender Weekend

The world will come once again to see the stunning lavender farms and their farmers at the annual Sequim Lavender Farm Faire, bringing together 17 years of lavender festivities during the Sequim Lavender Weekend, July 19-21, 2013 on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. The Faire brings all things lavender together with the world-famous Heritage Lavender Farm Tour™ and Lavender Arts and Crafts Faire in the Park™.

The Sequim Lavender Farm Faire is the premier lavender event in North America. The farms are members of the Sequim Lavender Farmers Association, local family-owned and operated farms ranging in size from 2.7 to 12 acres with over 125 years of collective lavender-growing experience. Our farmers live on the land and are full time farmers, committed to the highest quality lavender, lavender products, and events.

The Heritage Lavender Farm Tour™ features our stunning and iconic lavender farms, including three of the founding farms of the lavender movement. Each farm is visually distinctive and reflects the vision of its owners and the surrounding environment. Farmers share their techniques for cultivating, harvesting, drying and using lavender. Our farms have more than 100,000 lavender plants in the ground and 200,000 lavender plants for sale. Each farm is a festival with fields of lavender, hundreds of lavender products, workshops, demonstrations, u-cut lavender, crafts, food, beverages, music, and more. A full event pass is $10.00 in advance and $15 during the weekend. Active duty military admission is $10. There is no admission charge for children 12 and under. There is lots of free parking at all of the farms, The Farms on Tour are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Lavender Arts and Crafts Faire in the Park™, at Carrie Blake Park/Reuse Demonstration Park, is your free family-friendly central source for all things lavender. This beautiful park with great lawns and lovely gardens provides a relaxing and open area for the entire family. Lavender in the Park features more than 100 booths, lavender products, crafts, food, music, family programs, nonprofit organizations, agricultural and nature programs. This is also the hub for the  the downtown parking lot shuttle bus that connects all of the lavender events in Sequim. There is no admission charge at Lavender Arts and Crafts Faire in the Park™.
The Lavender Arts and Crafts Faire in the Park™ is open from 9:00am to 7:00pm on Friday and Saturday and from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday.

The Sequim Lavender Farm Faire is a community sponsored festival organized by the Sequim Lavender Farmers Association, a nonprofit organization.
